Game Status |
So far the game is behind schedule. I completely remade it to give it the illusion of 3D the best I can and now I’ve only made a short amount of playtime in the game so far. On another note, I’ve got many resources for it now. Below is information on True Legacy and screenshots of the game. I'm basically remaking and recoding what I'd made about two years ago right now.
The game starts off before Chapter 1: Birth of a Hero from the book. The storyline is slow-going to begin with. You begin as a transmogrifying cat from the planet Animeon. The planet is very technologically advanced. The entire planet is filled with those animals who have liberated themselves from humans. The animals and humans constantly fight each other in bloody wars. [The humans have used up all their resources and want the planet Animeon to use for their own benefit, while killing and eating as many animals as possible along the way.] As the story progresses it begins to come together. Along the way many legends are introduced and bonds are made that last more than a lifetime. General Antix introduces the beginning plot of the game when you run your first few missions with him. He talks of 22 ancient disks that will unlock the abilities of eight warriors on the planet and give them the power of all creation. Through the game you'll see the characters come to terms with their destiny, and fall apart because of it. If you want an idea of what the game will be like, read the book - it doesn't cover everything but you'll understand.
The game is currently 2-D and looks just a little better than the Gameboy Advanced SP games currently out. The game isn't meant to be a big moneymaker or anything, In fact it'll probably be free to download and play. The last time I was working on it was about November 2004, and I started work on the game in November 2001. I'll eventually finish the game but don't count on it being anytime soon unless I get my speed back. I've got some screenshots of the game, both the good-graphical and poor-graphical areas because I hate it when people only show the very best graphics when they advertise their games when really only a select few locations are that high quality.
